A Leprechaun in Scandinavia

They have actually made a campaign about the missing Leprechaun! His name is Lep, and they say he is in Scandinavia at the moment, and now Ireland (or Sweden and Norway, perhaps, ha ha) has started a campaign to make him go back. Make him feel homesick and win a trip to Ireland.

It could very well be a Leprechuan who has left the region of Ballina. On the campaign site they say that's where this "Lep" is from. And they have experienced some real problems there, with extremely bad luck for several years now. A Leprechaun brings good luck, we all know that, but does a missing Leprechaun create bad luck?

MY BEST PICTURE EVER!

Hallelujah! Take a look at this photo evidence. Yesterday, I saw a Leprechaun jumping up and down in an alley, playing with a cat! I carefully took up my camera. He saw me before I could take any pictures of him in the alley, but I tried to follow him. See how he jumps!

One thing that I find hard to understand is that he made no noise at all. No thuds from his feet jumping, no giggling, talking or anything. He moved in complete silence just like air.

Photo evidence

On several occasions, I have tried to catch a Leprechaun on film or photo. 99 % of my efforts reveal nothing. But some do. Here are two, in my opinion, really strong evidence photos. Sure, it's impossible to know for certain, but I was there. I know what I saw.

This picture was taken three years ago. I saw a green thing running back and forth over the street, over and over again. It was SO fast! I grabbed my camera and started shooting like mad. I got him!

This picture is even older. It was in Cork, and I had been looking for a new dining table for months, going around lots of different furniture stores. In one of these stores, under a chair to the right (it’s outside this picture) I noticed a Leprechaun staring right at me. I was just about to take a picture of the table that you see straight ahead, so my finger was already on the camera button.
